Salon Lofts - Dunn Loring Metro
Loft 1
With over 17 years of experience in the hair industry, I am an expert in hair painting (#Balayage), color correction, and dry cutting. I am please to present the conservative clients the modern chic styles, and the young-at-heart clients the most edgy cuts and colors from the most current trends. My skills are rooted from Paul Mitchell The School (in 2005), polished at PR @ Partners, and progressively educated with American board certified colorists.
Note: For last minute appointment booked online, please call directly to confirm before coming. Independent stylists don’t always stay on site. Hair studios/lofts don’t operate (open/close) like restaurants.
I don't often do any review, but Vince deserves to be known and recognized. I have been with Vince for many years following him from one salon to another. I am very happy that he finally has a place of his own. First of all, Vince's new hair studio is beautiful. It's bright, it's modern, yet, it gives a very private and comfy atmosphere. Everything is top notch from the interior design to high end hair products. Since this is a studio, you have the entire place to yourself with Vince which I really like. I can ask him all the stupid questions about hair and not to worry about other people might hear. :D When it comes to hair, Vince is a color GOD. Over the years, I have had super short, long, medium length hair, from dark chocolate to cool blond, from balayage to just simple root touch up...Each time, he delivers above my expectation, and my hair always feels refreshed and healthy. Vince always takes his time to ensure the quality and the health of your hair no matter when it's an hour job, 3 hours job, or even 5, 6 hours job. His judgment and technique are impeccable. Over the years, I also came to know that he usually travels a few times a year to Vegas and other places to learn new color techniques and new products. To me, it is very important to know that my colorist, who is already great, but still always strives to be greater. Last but not least, his new work hours are very flexible. It works well for working professional clients who usually work from 9am to 5pm and find it's difficult to have their hair done because most salon would be closed by 7pm. With Vince, you can make appointment after normal working hours. I recently had my hair done with him from 7pm to 11pm. We had a little to-go dinner from the nearby restaurant. I always have a great time with him. Thanks Vince! - From Tina
I live across from Dunn Loring Metro. For the past months, every time I walked past Salon Loft, I always stopped and peaking in Vince's studio through the glass wall. His studio by far is the nicest one in the loft. I finally made an appointment for a full balayage with Vince few days ago, and I am very happy with the outcome. I am definitely going see him again and again and again...Vince is a very skilled colorist and stylist. He listened carefully when I explained what I wanted. He took the time to explain every process and also explained the reason why he makes the types of recommendation for my hair color. In addition, he took the time to get to know me as a person, what I liked and what type of hair color/style I'm looking for. More importantly, he was honest about the color and style, what's achievable, what not, and surely he did an excellent job. And did I mention, I'm so in LOVE with my new hair color!? And also, buy some of his hair care products...OMG...they smell amaaaazzzinnngggg and they are great for your hair -- I would definitely recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!
I've lived in the DC area since 2001. I've been through many, many stylists over the years, from Georgetown, to McLean to Reston. It took me 17 years to finally land the stylist I've been searching for since I left my favorite Madison Avenue stylists in NY. Vince is fabulous with my hair and color. We have fun as he does his masterful work on my challenging head of very fine and very little hair. I am so thankful for him entering my hair's life.
