Latonya has an undeniable passion for the hair and beauty industry which motivated her to be creative, innovative, and revolutionary. Her innovative weaving technique has revolutionized the hair industry forever.  Latonya moved to Georgia from Detroit in 2008, she started at Touch by Angel Salon. Which is where she found her niche and inspired her to open her own salon in 2009. She developed the “double tracking technique” that would allow them to get done with a sew-in faster, which allowed her to be able to charge less. She allows clients to build their own package based on the client’s budget and needs by using the weave shops Ala carte pricelist. She identified a need for providing clients with amazing styles at reasonable cost-effective prices. She took the concept of an express weave service and birthed The weave shop. Where she came up with the “$50 weave shop.” Within a year after she opened her first salon, she had received an overwhelming response, which led to her and her family branding and franchising the weave shop in over 5 different states. 

Latonya has a team of license stylists and a braider assistant that shares a wide range of skills such as sew-ins, tape-ins, micro-links, wig installs, ponytails, and silk press/natural hair services.
