A little bit about me... Passionate, Versatile, and Artistic about hair, I have established my own salon studio in Arlington VA, Hair By 10ika. Inspiration from the number 10 found in my name. With over 17 years of experience in the hair industry. I have worked in the salon, styled hair for photoshoots, and styled hair for models in NY and DC fashion shows and NBA and NFL dancers! I grew up in Southern Virginia and now reside in Northern Virginia. Obsessed with hair, I love to provide my clients with a multitude of options to achieve their desired look including cuts, colors, and extensions for the ultimate feel good makeover. Through my versatile experience, I pride myself in the ability to work with different textures and having a diverse clientele. I provide insight to my clients of everything I use and why; to help maintain the style outside of the salon. I will always put in the extra effort and time to make my clients happy, make them feel that they are priority and that their appointments are not rushed. When you look good, I look good! I'm super welcoming and I hope you will feel like you have gained more than just a stylist but also a friend! After working in the corporate salon world for years, I 'm excited to have created a private salon studio that is a safe, clean environment with warm vibes; using only high quality styling and color products. Continuing education is another important factor as I strive to get more certifications to keep up with trending techniques in extensions and color. When I'm not in the Salon I'm most likely creating my next hair project on myself and will probably look like a new person every time you see me. I also love Karaoke and having an extensive social life, hanging out with friends and exploring new restaurants and live music events.
