About
Welcome to The Vanity Room. Due to our recent pandemic I felt it necessary to relocate from my previous salon for the safety and health of my clients and myself. I have worked in a salon since I was 12 years old and have been so fortunate to be mentored by some of the best over the past 30 years. I was lucky to attend the Sebastian academy in LA, joined the Irvine Rusk team for 2 years, and continue in furthering my education at the Redken Exchange on 5th Ave. As a native New Yorker, I thrive in cutting edge techniques and styles in the beauty industry. My specialties are corrective color and bespoke cutting. My passion for people and education runs deep. In 2016 I launched a campaign to open a salon space at the Ronald McDonald house in Durham. I was able with other generous contributions create a salon space to service the families residing there. My loft will also serve at this time to the families every Sunday free of charge during this pandemic. Thank you for your support and l look forward to welcoming you to The Vanity Room.
