Hello! My name is Nicole! I have been a Cosmetologist since 2011, I specialize in Balayage Highlights, specialty blonding and Blondes. My passion for hair is shown in my work, I love it when I can change someones mood and make them feel like a new person!
I sleep, eat, and think HAIR! Always looking out for the latest trends and different ways to educate myself in this industry. Literally eating dinner while watching hair videos, its a serious obsession. I have always wanted to do hair, ever since I can remember. Graduated from Aveda of S.Charlotte in 2011, where I was so dedicated I graduated early.
I was born in Connecticut (random, I know) my family is from Puerto Rico, I've lived here in NC and in Texas most of my life. I have an amazing husband of 7 years that has supported me in every decision.

I don’t even know where to begin to describe the many ways Nicole is THE BEST!! I’ve been going to her for years and years and do not trust anyone else with my hair. I have thin, very curly hair and I’ve been able to reach a very ashy blonde color without damaging my hair and it’s all thanks to Nicole’s care, attention to detail and professionalism. Three words to describe Nicole Medina: Professional, Attentive, Skilled! I've been a loyal client of Nicole's for about two years now. I was referred to her by a friend after a series of terrible salon experiences...and I haven't been to another stylist since! She is a professional in every sense of the word: she is knowledgeable about her craft, maintains high standards of cleanliness, truly listens to her clients wants, and does not rush or "cut" corners but takes her time to make each client happy. I came to her wanting to maintain healthy hair while growing it out and to have my hair colored for the very first time! I was super nervous but Nicole put me at ease and I loved the way it turned out. Nicole did balayage color over a year ago and I still get compliments on my color even after it has grown out about 6 inches! I am a 62 year old that have been with Nikkie since I moved to Charlotte 8 years ago when she was as just starting out. Started with long black hair and over time many styles to go with my age. I am a 62 year old that have been with Nikkie since I moved to Charlotte 8 years ago when she was as just starting out. Started with long black hair and over time many styles to go with my age. Now I have all white hair after growing it out without color and I get so many compliments on my short sazzy style and healthy hair all thanks to Nikkie's advice and care! It wasn't until I found Nikki that my hair finally had life. I have very thick hair and no one knew how to style it correctly or they would take hours and tons of money from me. Nikki is so good at what she does, all my cuts have been fab. Only person I trust cutting my bags too, again thick hair ppl problems. First time I dyed it it was with her bc I was too scared someone else would do it bad since my hair is very dark. Idk how she did it but she was able to get my hair to a lovely ash brown thay blended beautifully. I posted a hair of my pic in Pinterest and it got repinned like 1000 times!!! So yeah! Nicole has been the best thing that has happened to my hair! I definitely believe in a "life" cut (the haircut you could have for life) and I have found mine thanks to her! She also has been the first and only person I have trusted to do color on my hair. She is great! She took my hair from a dark black/brown to a beautiful caramel using her balayage techniques. I will never see another stylist! I Definitely recommend Nicole!
