Hello, I'm Missy, and I am founder and creator of One Lane Studio. For as long as I can remember I had a dream of doing hair and making people look and feel fabulous. At the age of 13, I can still hear my dad saying, "Missy when you grow up you ought to be a hairstylist." That became the light bulb moment for me and my desire to become a hairstylist was born. 

I was fortunate enough to kickstart my career early by completing 3 years of cosmetology school during high school. At that time, I also worked at a local salon as a shampoo tech. After passing state boards, the owner of the salon saw my passion, dedication and drive and put me behind the chair right away! I was so fortunate to be surrounded by talented hairstylists who took me under their wing while encouraging and guiding me every step of the way. 

I love being at the forefront of the latest hairstyles, cuts and trends which keep me excited and continually growing in my craft. Ongoing education classes and attending hair shows keep me on the cutting edge.

Before launching One Lane Studio, I was blessed to be part of an amazing salon for 26 years until it closed its doors in 2022. This was a huge change for me and really took me out of my comfort zone. It forced me to spread my wings and look for a new salon to hang my scissors. 

I landed here at Salon Lofts and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! From the moment you walk through the door you become part of an upbeat experience! There is great music playing and the loft owners are welcoming, friendly, and professional.

For over 30 years, I have loved making people look and feel beautiful, judgement free! I specialize in short, medium, and long cuts, as well as color, perms, and treatments for damaged hair. Everyone's hair has different needs therefore each client receives individualized custom attention. 

I am thrilled about this next chapter in my career. I invite you to come by take a seat in my chair and I promise you a fabulous cut and experience here at Salon Lofts.
