I have been a professional hairstylist for more than 15 years. My expertise lies in my ability to assess your hair type and texture as well as your face shape to determine a style that works for you. I am a color specialist. I attend ongoing professional development trainings to keep my skills fresh and up to date with current trends in cut and color.
I offer daytime, evening and weekend hours. Conveniently located in downtown Kentlands just off of I270.

I got my hair cut by Mina and she was very nice and offered me snacks and water, but I was less than impressed with the haircut. I got a shaggy pixie that I asked her to cut with a razor since I liked the way it left the hair. She cut it with a razor but then went through and snipped off all the nice, tapered edges with scissors, straight across, so now I have random tiers throughout my hair. She also did that to my bangs so I have two length bangs right on top of each other like stairs. When she first showed me the product it looked nothing like the many photos I showed her-- extremely Karen-esque-- and she did her best to fix it but the aforementioned tiered look ruins it. I will likely have to wait for the hair to grow and then go through with my own razor to fix it. Part of it is my fault, I should have been clearer and stopped her when she started snipping my hair, but I trusted too much and am soft spoken. She would probably be great for older people getting their hair cut since you all have different tastes, but I'm 21 and don't want to look 50. Overall, I'm just disappointed with the lack of finesse and I wish she had spent more time asking me questions so she knew exactly what to do instead of defaulting to a Karen look. She also dyed my hair and that part looks good, she did a great job matching the color to my natural roots that were growing in, exactly what I wanted.
