Hey there, I'm Michael (they, them), also known as The Akuyaku! I have over 11 years of experience in the tattooing industry. My passion for art and dedication to my clients drive me to create unique and personalized tattoos that tell a story.

In my free time, I love painting, drawing, writing, watching anime, and enjoying artsy movies. I have a particular love for anything Tolkien related and often watch The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films while I draw and tattoo.

My work mainly focuses on stylized realism, inspired often by Baroque era artists like Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Diego Velázquez, Anthony van Dyck, and Vermeer; as well as academic artist, Alexandre Cabanel. I specialize in tattooing anime & video game characters, portraits, and various other pop culture themes; but I love to take on all kinds of custom commissions.
