About
Michael went to cosmetology school in Belgium and later moved to the United States to pursue his career in hair design. He specializes in color correction and various cutting techniques. He and his wife, Mary, are the founders and owners of Avivo Salon and Spa which operated in Vienna, Virginia for 18 years before moving to Salon Lofts in Tyson's Corner 2019. Avivo was awarded Best of in Sun Gazette's in 2008 and Best of the Best in NovaLiving in 2004. Michael is fluent in English, Farsi, Dutch, and Turkish.
