Mia Jones

Hello, beautiful people! 

I am Mia. I was born and raised in the wonderful state of Minnesota. I am both part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and a woman of color. That being said, any and all races, genders, and ethnicities are welcome in my studio. Or be it that you may not identify as anything, you are still welcome and wanted! There is zero judgment welcome in my room, as this is a hate free zone. So upon entering, I hope you can feel as comfortable as can be knowing you can be yourself!

I am 24 years old, and have been in the industry since I was 17. My passion for beauty and art comes from my mother who has also been in the industry since a very young age. Since I was old enough to walk, I have loved to wear makeup, dress up, and create art of all kinds. This is what ignited my passion of helping others achieve their optimal state of beauty. Whether it be clearing up their skin, styling and coloring their hair, clipping their nails, or even just dressing them up in fun clothes. I love to help others feel good about themselves. I started my cosmetology degree three months after graduating high school. Then two years later, I went back for my advanced practice esthician degree. I learned so much along the way, and have been practicing ever since to master my crafts, and to find the most efficient ways to complete my services. I am still learning every day, and hope many of you will join me along my journey of discovery within these fields!

Some of my favorite hobbies to do when I'm not working are playing video games, hunting down my favorite Pokémon cards, doing my own hair and makeup, and my biggest passion besides beauty; cooking! Making different dishes every day for my family to try is one of my favorite things! It is something I not only want to do, but need to do. Food is my love language. 

All that being said, I do hope you've learned a little about me, and are excited to come into my studio and work with me on taking care of you! I think everyone is beautiful, and I truly hope you will allow me to help you feel the same way about yourself!
