Megan Bayko

Welcome! My name is Megan! So a little bit about me:
I am a Carolina girl, where I attended and graduated from the AVEDA Institute here in Charlotte. I am proud to have been in the industry for 16 years and still going strong!

After I went through my apprenticeship and started doing what I love as my career, I went back to college to finish up my Bachelors degree. So back in 2016 I finally finished college with a BA in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. 

In 2022, I was honored to have received the Best Stylist Award by the South Charlotte Weekly “Best of the Weeklies” and continue to keep that same passion and dedication to all clients in my chair!

Total Betty…the name of my salon, pays homage to my late grandmother, Betty.

Inspired by a quote in the 90’s movie "Clueless," a 'total Betty' means “hottie” or a beautiful/attractive woman. The phrase also refers to the classic beauty icon actress Betty Grable. 

So what’s my mission? To make every woman in my chair feel beautiful and attractive as they truly are!
