Lydia Lutz

Hi! Welcome!

I'm Lydia, owner of Artistry by Lyd, a private salon suite located in the Central West area of Houston in the Shoppes at San Felipe. I specialize in balayage highlights, low maintenance hair, wedding services, and helping clients reach healthy hair goals. I also offer full privacy to those clients who require more modesty.

I've been in the beauty industry since 2006, being a makeup artist for myself and for MAC Cosmetics and Tom Ford Beauty. In 2011 I decided to work solely for myself, and to become more educated in hair. I went back to school to gain my cosmetology license at the Paul Mitchell School, and began working in salons in Montrose and Royal Oaks area. In the summer of 2023 I decided to focus more on my business and relationships with clients, and I opened my own private space inside Salon Lofts in the Shoppes at San Felipe where I offer services in-salon and on-location.

Services In-Salon 

Services in-salon range from men's & women's cuts, balayage and traditional highlights, grey coverage, high impact colour, hair treatments in Olaplex and Brazilian Blowout, updos for special events, blowouts and makeup application.

Services On-Location

When on-location, I offer both makeup and hair styling/updos for special events and weddings, photoshoots, and makeup lessons.
