Tom did an amazing job on my hair! I am Filipino with wavy, coarse, dry hair. This is the 1st time I've been 100% satisfied walking out of a salon but this is also the 1st time I've had an Asian hair stylist. No one could get it right with my hair. He cut about 2" off my hair and he wanted to ensure he kept my hair healthy by suggesting what I should and should not do. I told him I trusted him. I got the blond balayage that I wanted and love it! All in all, I walked out looking and feeling fabulous. I'll be back in 6 months for my trim and toner.

I had the best first experience at Hair and Style Studio today. I was looking for a new place in the DMV, coming from LA, and Tom was very friendly, from booking me at the last minute, to leading me to the studio (it’s a bit hidden), to the service provided. The space is magnificent, as every styling chair is in its own nicely decorated and clean cubicle (a win for privacy and pandemic readiness). Tom made sure to ask me about exactly what I wanted, and I really appreciated this since I’m very picky with my bangs trim! I was pleased with the result; 10/10 I’ll be returning.

Tom did an amazing job with my cut and balayage! He matched my (fading) balayage perfectly and trimmed just the right amount. I’ve had stylists try to peer pressure me into layers, shorter cuts than I’m comfortable with, etc., and Tom did none of that—he listened to what I wanted and delivered perfectly. I’ll definitely be back! (And he wore a mask the whole time which was greatly appreciated in our strange times!)

He really knows what he is doing and you can tell how much he likes doing it. It’s not just about getting as many clients in one day, he takes him time and make sure it is what you want!
