It was only a matter of time before Ebony Newcomb, owner of Shear Hotness and co owner of Sorella Cosmetics, would combine her passion of beauty and being behind the chair. As someone who sees beauty in everything that is authentic and imperfect, she draws inspiration from her surroundings. She completed her education at the prestigious, Paul Mitchell The School: Cincinnati; and, has been hands on in the industry ever since. Ebony has worked behind the chair and freelanced for amazing companies such as Christian Dior, Michael's Salon and Spa, Paul Mitchell Ohio, Mally Beauty, the Dr. Phil show, and more. She currently takes pride in her roles as an Artist for NARS Cosmetics, as well as, having representation with Heyman Talent Agency. Aside from being a girl boss and taking the beauty industry by storm, she is the loving wife and mom to her husband Blake, and three children: Ashtin, Braylon, and Kennedy.
Ebony specializes and thoroughly enjoys the art of balayage and blonding. Her skill, expertise, and ability to bring out one's best features sets her apart from the rest. Ebony takes pride in being versatile, as she also masters bridal, editorial, and production makeup.
