Welcome to Hair by Carmen! I have been a hair dresser for 16 years. I started my career at Carmen! Carmen! Salon e’ Spa working with some of the top hairdressers in Charlotte. Working with Carmen Cutrona and his team of amazing Aveda stylists has given me so many amazing opportunities to expand my knowledge and master my skills as a hairdresser. I left Carmen! Carmen! in 2011 and have been working as an independent stylist ever since. I am a certified Redken Color Specialist, a certified Brazilian Blowout specialist and a certified Hotheads specialist which focuses on tape in extensions. I am also an OYA color educator. I continue to grow every day as a hairdresser and love that I can apply my experience to my guest daily! I look forward to seeing you!

I found Carmen by chance at Carmen! Carmen! when I first moved to Charlotte in 2008 and have followed her literally all over Charlotte ever since. She is a fantastic stylist and colorist, listens to what you want, and will readily provide feedback if she thinks something is a great idea or maybe a not so great one. Carmen has never steered me wrong in terms of cut or color (she's the only person I would let color my hair), and I totally trust her skills and eye to help make me look my best. Her pricing is very reasonable and she isn't just there to sell you product. (Although if you're looking for a good line, check out the Seven hair care line she uses). She's has such an engaging personality and it is always the best day when I get to go see her!
