 Hello and welcome to Hair and Soul Studio. My name is Ashley. I have been a stylist for 15 yrs now. I have a wonderful husband and stepson (13) whom I love with all of my heart. Also a dog momma to a 10 month old pitbull named Loki whom I just adore. I love connecting with people. I love anything nature and outdoors. Fall/ Halloween is my favorite time of the year. I put my heart and soul into making others feel beautiful inside and out, and I hope that my clients feel that whenever they leave my chair.  I studied at The International Academy Of Hair Design. I was trained in Vidal Sassoon cutting techniques, and am grateful to have been trained pretty thoroughly in all aspects of color.  I have been employed with Regis Corporation for the past twelve years. In those years, I have received various education in color, product knowledge, color theory, leadership, and am always trying to better myself in any way that I can. I specialize in highlights ( I can foil in my sleep). I love doing very blended heavy foils and toning. I have extensive knowledge in color theory and pride myself in being able to correct almost any color needing correction. It may take time but I promise I will get you to where you want to be. I am certified in Olaplex. It is a miracle treat for your hair and I recommend it with any lightening service. I take pride in protecting the integrity of your hair first and foremost and will be honest and upfront with you about your hair goals. I love doing dramatic changes and seeing clients light up again after needing that new makeover. I have struggled with self image my entire life. I have trichotillomania. A body focused repetitive behavior, where I pull out my eyelashes and eyebrows. It began when I was in 3rd grade and has definately gotten much better over the years. I know how hard and how much of a struggle it can be living with such a disorder, and even harder I'm sure to venture to a hair salon. I am a trich friendly stylist and would love to connect with you if you are looking for a compassionate, understanding, stylist!  Come in, relax , and allow me to put my heart and soul into helping you look and feel your best :)
