I was born and raised in San Diego. When I graduated highschool I had no clue what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted to be self employed and have a career that would be flexible for me to be a mom. I loved to do hair so I decided to go to beauty school. In 1999 I graduated beauty school and started as a booth renter. In 2003 I bought the salon I was working at. I sold it when my first child was born. Fast forward to 2013, we decided to move to Texas to be with family. Now a mom of 3 (plus a bonus child), we were uprooting our lives...and my business. Graciously, my clients asked me to travel to do their hair while I built my business in a new state. Traveling every 6 weeks for 2 years was a blessing, but it was time to close that chapter.

I now own a window suite located inside of Salons@1890.  Being in a suite has allowed a very private, cozy space where I am able to give a customized guest experience. I feel the most important part of my job is to really listen and understand the desires of my guests. I am a certified "Business of Balayage" stylist and a previous educator for the color and product line I use. I am constantly taking classes to keep my skills top notch. I specialize in natural, lived in cuts and color that are very easy to maintain. I love to meet new people and knowing that I have the ability to change the way someone feels about themself is the most rewarding thing about what I do.

When I'm not at the salon, I am a very busy mama. You will either find me at a cheer gym with my girls, a baseball field, or working out or taking a cycling class. I have 2 daughters that are competitive cheerleaders and a son who plays baseball. My background is a fitness competitor, and my husband is a powerlifter, so our kids are naturally very athletic and very competitive, as we are. We live at the lake so in the summer that is my most favorite place to hang out.
