First, thank you so much for checking out my page! Whether you are a new guest or you have been a guest of mine for years, I am so happy you are here! I have been a hairstylist since 2014, when I graduated from the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill. I am constantly investing into my continuing education so that I am able to provide amazing services to all of my guests.
My specialties include creating color that is low-maintenance, with natural dimension and layers that fall organically. Sustainable beauty products are incredibly important to me which is why Davines is the main product line used at 1821 Hair Studio. The cozy environment at 1821 creates a comfortable space so that you can feel free to relax and enjoy your appointment. I have learned over the years that haircare is so much more than just the physical aesthetic. In our busy lives, it is essential to make space for a moment of self care.
While at home, I love spending time with my husband, Andrew, and my two little ones, Redding and Gillian. My happy place is playing in the backyard with my kids! My whole family means the world to me! Their love and support has helped me get to where I am today.

Alyssa is hands down the best hair stylist I’ve ever had. I’ve never trusted anyone more, I simply sit in her chair and tell her to work her magic. She always gives me a cut and color that best suit me. Alyssa is a pro at making hair color look natural, which I love. She’s also able to communicate what she’s doing and how it relates to my hair in a way that empowers me to go home and style it myself. I love Alyssa, she's incredibly talented at what she does! I'm grateful our paths crossed ways when they did. I moved to NC from Denver 2 years ago and had difficulty finding the right stylist for the natural blonde color I was trying to maintain from from my balayage specialist back in Colorado. By the time I found her services, I had a few bad color services from previous stylists that left my blonde completely saturated, brassy and damanged. It was a hot mess to say the least. Alyssa is a miracle worker and did a full-color correction to bring back the natural blonde color to my hair I'd been looking for since moving to NC. Now my hair has dimension and a natural balayage coveted look again. She really is one of the best stylists in the triangle, and I say that with confidence. I would recommend her many times over. Don't look any further for expert colors and cuts!

Alyssa is amazing. I am super picky - from Manhattan! - and I almost never like how a colorist does my hair but from the start, Alyssa got my color and highlights perfect! I found Alyssa through the Salon loft website because I moved here from NYC I needed a new colorist. I had tried other color is in North Carolina and was unhappy with all of them! I assumed I wouldn’t like Elissa’s work as well but she surprised me! And I’ve been going to her ever since for the past six months.
